Browns Virtual Campus Online

BROWNS Virtual provides live, interactive classes in real-time with teachers in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. BROWNS' virtual learning environment delivers the same high-quality curriculum, student support and learning outcomes that BROWNS is famous for. International students already in Australia or overseas can join BROWNS' interactive virtual English classes, start a pathway program for entrance into a partner school, university or college, engage with teachers in Australia, make new friends and stay connected.

Mode of Study: As of April 2020, BROWNS is delivering all English courses via Virtual Interactive Learning. Full-time on-campus classes will be available for international students once Australian Government travel restrictions are lifted.*

Academic Excellence:
All teachers are degree qualified and also hold post-graduate qualifications in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). We are proud of the world-class calibre of our teaching team. At BROWNS, we are careful to choose career teachers who are passionate about the ESL classroom and ensuring our students receive the best possible education. The Academic Management Team conducts regular teaching observations and feedback sessions with our teachers, as well as providing a supportive and collegial atmosphere in which ideas and good practice can be shared.

Our philosophy is that for every hour that the student spends in class, they should be able to identify clear learning outcomes. Our teaching team is responsible for providing this focused learning environment. However, virtual classes don't mean dull classes! At BROWNS, we want to bring the language and learning alive. Our classes are hands-on, communicative and interactive. We want to motivate, inspire, enthuse, and empower students to achieve rapid progress in the English language. Students use e-books and digital materials, which are available to students 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Free BROWNS Online Placement Test (BOPT):
The BROWNS Online Placement Test (BOPT) measures a test taker's ability in English. We use it to place our students in the right class for their individual learning needs. We have integrated the BOPT with our Study Plan Designer to ensure students are placed in classes that align with their academic skills and English proficiency levels. This allows us to provide a more accurate recommended pathway to future studies. The BOPT provides students with convenient online real-time testing and results.
