Accommodation options for students
Bond University Student Housing caters for both domestic and international students. You may be far from home, but you will never feel alone, surrounded by fellow students who are also getting used to life away from their families.
Students have two options for accommodation while studying at Bond:
Living off campus
Bond University is the only university campus on the Gold Coast that is located right in the heart of a genuine residential neighbourhood. For students wanting to live nearby, this means there is a wide range of rental accommodation available within walking distance.
Studio rooms and apartments
There are a number of studio room and apartment options located within walking distance to the University which include:
Homestay
Homestay is a great option for international students wanting to immerse in the Australian lifestyle. We have an exceptional network of homestay families who are excited to welcome students into their homes.
Please note, Bond University College English students who are under 18 years of age must use homestay.
Your Homestay Host Family will:
If you are an international student, we recommend you experience at least four weeks of Homestay living when you first arrive to help adjust to life on the Gold Coast and practice your English in an everyday environment.
The Australian Homestay Network can help you find the Host Family of your choice.

Couples, family and share accommodation
There is a variety of rental accommodation available across the Gold Coast, ranging from beachside apartments to suburban family homes near schools, business precincts, and retail centres. Find Gold Coast rentals at realestate.com and domain.com.au, and search for Varsity Lakes, Robina, Mermaid Beach and other surrounding suburbs if you want to live close to campus.
Shared accommodation is a common and affordable option for students. Students regularly advertise for flatmates in a variety of units, townhouses, and larger homes located in suburbs adjacent to the campus such as Varsity Lakes or Robina and further afield on flatmates.com.au/bond. Alternatively, connect with other Bondies on the Bond University Student Association's Facebook Page to find available rooms for rent and students searching for roommates.
