This course is designed for beginner to upper-intermediate students. It offers a great foundation if you’re looking to progress to outcome-focused courses such as IELTS, Cambridge and Academic English.

Classes operate across 5 levels:

1. Beginner

4. Intermediate
5. Upper-intermediate

4 WEEKS (DAY)

This course will help you if you lack the confidence to speak in English or if you find it difficult to produce a particular English sound or group of sounds.

It’s also the perfect stepping stone to courses like IELTS Preparation and Cambridge (FCE, PET) - as it will give you the confidence to speak in front of a group, helping you to progress faster.

• IELTS Preparation

Greenwich offers two IELTS Preparation courses aimed at developing the core English skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking to help students achieve a high score in the official IELTS test!

IELTS Foundation
This course is designed for intermediate English students who are aiming for an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher to help gain access to university or college, or to improve employment prospects - in Australia, or in other English-speaking countries throughout the world.

IELTS Advanced

This course is designed for upper-intermediate English students who are aiming for an IELTS score of 7.0 or higher - to help gain access to university or college, improve employment prospects or for migration purposes - in Australia or in other English-speaking countries throughout the world.

• Cambridge Exam Preparation

Cambridge Key English Test (KET)

Cambridge English: A2 Key (KET) is our entry-level Cambridge English program. It’s designed to improve your ability to communicate in English - in simple, everyday situations. It covers the core English skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Cambridge Preliminary English Test (PET)
Have you completed Cambridge English: A2 Key (KET)? Now you can progress to Cambridge English: B1 Preliminary (PET) to build on the core English skills you learnt in Cambridge English: A2 Key (KET) including listening, reading, speaking and writing, to improve your communication skills in everyday situations.

Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE)

Build on the core English skills you learnt in Cambridge English: A2 Key (KET) and Cambridge English: B1 Preliminary (PET) to extend your vocabulary, convey more abstract themes, and write more complex pieces to operate more confidently and naturally in an English-speaking environment.

Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)

Cambridge English C1 Advanced (CAE) is an in-depth qualification that shows you have the English-language skills sought by employers and organisations in Australia and around the world. It is now widely accepted by the Australian Government for Migration purposes as well as Australian universities.

Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CPE)

Cambridge English Certificate in C2 Proficiency (formally CPE) is the most comprehensive English language qualification. C2 Proficiency shows that you have the native-speaker English-language skills sought by employers and organisations in language proficient careers - such as medicine and law. Recognised in Australia and around the world, C2 Proficiency is now widely accepted by the Australian Government for Migration purposes as well as Australian universities.

Cambridge English B2 First (FCE) - On Demand

Cambridge B2 First (FCE) On-Demand offers weekly intakes that allow you to study Cambridge English with great flexibility. You can choose between 4 weeks (minimum) and up to 12 weeks of study. This is the perfect way to study B2 First (FCE) with ultimate flexibility and still have the opportunity to study an accelerated English program and have the option to take the official Cambridge English exam.

Academic English Preparation

Academic English Preparation (AEP) introduces students to English in an academic context. It focuses on improving academic reading, essay writing and presentation skills.

English for Academic  Purposes

Nervous about the challenges associated with tertiary study in an English-speaking country? English for Academic Purposes (EAP) focuses on the presentation, essay writing and referencing skills you will need to survive and excel at university or college.

English for Business

This course covers three practical 4-week modules including Administration & Customer Service, Sales & Marketing as well as Management & Human Resources. You can choose one course to address a specific need or complete all modules to kick-start your career in business.

English+ Creative Technology

As the only course of its type in Australia, English+ Creative Technology is a unique 12-week course for students who need to communicate in the field of technology for study or work. The aim is for students to develop broad technological English skills that will provide a platform for technology-related careers. With 3, practical, 4-week modules specialising in teaching the language skills essential for success in the technological field,  You can choose one course for a specific need, or get an excellent foundation for your future career by doing all three.
