The General English courses allow students from Beginner level right up to Upper Intermediate level to develop their ESL skills in all four components of English - Grammar, Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking and Presentation skills. General English Level 5 also has an Academic English component so that students can make a smooth transition from GE into EAP studies and then on to tertiary studies.
Course Duration: 1 to 60 weeks
Levels: Beginner, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate and Advanced

Students who need to prepare for tertiary studies can be well-assured that they will improve in all facets of English for Academic Purposes needed for entry into university education such as Essay writing, Report writing, Referencing and Presentation skills. These skills are an essential underlay for successfully achieving a diploma or degree from an Australian tertiary institution. The English for Academic Purposes is assessment based. There is no final exam, but like many university courses, your final scores are an average and amalgamation of your entire work for the course. Twice during the course there are proficiency tests to check that your English level is equivalent to relevant academic abilities, and this is designed to better guide your learning.
Course Duration: 12 weeks per level

The Preparation for IELTS course gives all participating students a strong base for successfully completing the International English Language Test in either the General or the Academic mode. A Specialist teacher-provides personalised help in Test techniques and the underlying principles of question types and the IELTS format are taught so that the students can sit the test in full awareness and with confidence. Not only that, students are given the opportunity to take a mock IELTS Test every week in each component. This way, the teacher as well as students can ascertain which of the four major English skills need to be strengthened and which question formats need reviewing.
Intake Date: Every Monday
Levels: Intermediate to upper-intermediate for the General IELTS Test. Upper intermediate for the Academic IELTS Test.
Study per week: 20 hours of face-to-face study per week
The Pearson Test English course is geared specifically to the Pearson Test. In other words, it is prescriptive with approved weekly tests given by a specialised teacher. Students attending this course are given individual help and guidance with focus on all the tested areas.
Levels: Upper Intermediate - Advanced

Prepare students for PTE Tests
This multi-skills course prepares students who will be commencing Years 7-11 in NSW high schools. And, whilst the focus is on English specific to Maths, Science, EnglishLiterature, Geography and History, there is a sports program to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle. Parents and guardians can be fully assured that their children will be safe in a secure and culturally sensitive environment where they can enjoy the company of other students who are heading in the same direction – a successful pathway to an Australian high school.
To prepare students aged 12 to 18 years of all English levels for English into high schools in New South Wales.

This delightful course is perfect for children who need a smooth transition from their own cultural environment into the Australian culture. Students are provided with all that they need in English studies for entry into Australian primary schools with a focus on English, Music, movement, the Arts and Sports activities. Teachers and the classroom environment are especially equipped to engage the students in a safe and culturally sensitive manner. Not only that, there is a bilingual assistant in the classroom at all times to give the children a sense of belonging and security.

The English for Young Learners course provides students aged 7 -12 with the opportunity to develop their English language skills and it also prepares them for entry into the NSW Primary School mainstream.
