The University of Canberra College English Language Centre (UCCELC) has prepared international students for entry to the University of Canberra since 1969. UCCELC is part of the University of Canberra College (UCC) and provides one of the pathways into the University of Canberra award courses.
The University of Canberra College English Language Centre (UCCELC) is conveniently located at the UC’s Bruce campus, and has a range of intensive English courses that will help students develop the English skills they need to succeed at the University and in their future career. One of the oldest English language centres in Australia, the UCCELC runs the only International English Language Testing System (IELTS) centre in Canberra. Highly rated by students, the UCCELC rated well about the national average in terms of students recommending it to others, and its social and cultural program includes activities and class excursions that help students become familiar with Australian culture. Offering a range of facilities including online materials to help students improve their English, UCCELC’s teachers are qualified professionals with a range of international experience, who use imaginative and interactive teaching methods that will not only help students achieve better results, but ensure they have fun along the way.
