UTASAccess – Direct Entry
Improve your academic English skills and meet the English entry requirement for your chosen degree with the UTASAccess-Direct Entry course.

Successful completion of this program at the relevant level satisfies the English requirement for University of Tasmania undergraduate and post-graduate studies.

UTASAccess-Direct Entry is offered at our Hobart and Launceston campuses. You will study your English at the same campus where your chosen degree is offered.

UTASAccess-English (General English)
You don't have to be a university student to enjoy the university experience!  The University of Tasmania offers a general English program, called UTAS Access-English, taught on-campus for anyone wanting to improve their English for their career, travel, future study or just out of interest.

The program is designed to meet the needs of a broad range of English language learners and provides you with the necessary tools to communicate effectively in English. While you study, you get access to all our great on-campus facilities. You also get to practice speaking English with the friendly locals.
