In New Zealand, a NZQF Diploma or at least three years of relevant experience is required (ANZSCO Skill Level 2). In some cases, additional on-the-job training and experience may be necessary alongside formal qualifications.

  • Selecting, specifying, and recommending functional and aesthetic materials, furniture, and products for interiors
  • Detailing and documenting selected design for construction
  • Supervising the construction of interiors
